2. Scope
This Policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect the personal data of visitors to aeliacare.com, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek Law 4624/2019. At this stage of operation, the website is purely informational.
3. Categories of Data We Collect
- Navigation data: IP address, device/browser type, date and time of visit, pages viewed. This data is recorded automatically in the hosting server logs.
- Technical cookies: strictly necessary cookies for the operation of the website. We do not use statistics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- Contact data: your name, email address and the content of your message, when you contact us through the contact form or by email.
Please do not include special categories of data (e.g. health data) in your message. Any such information you provide voluntarily will be used solely to respond to your request and will be deleted if not necessary.
4. Purposes & Legal Bases
Operation & security of the website. Navigation data (IP address etc.) is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), in order to ensure the operation and security of our systems and to prevent malicious activity.
Responding to enquiries. Data submitted through the contact form or by email is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract at your request) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), solely to respond to your request.
We do not use your data for marketing purposes and we do not send newsletters.
5. Recipients & Processors
We disclose data only to the extent necessary, to:
- The website hosting and technical support provider.
- The email service provider (Microsoft 365) for managing correspondence.
- Public/supervisory authorities where required by law.
6. Intra-Group Sharing
Data may be shared within the SAMAKOVLIS MANAGEMENT group for internal administrative purposes, to the extent strictly necessary, based on the group’s legitimate interest (Recital 48 GDPR).
7. Transfers outside the EEA
As a rule, data remains within the EEA. Where a processor processes data outside the EEA, this takes place with the appropriate safeguards of Art. 46 GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses) or on the basis of an adequacy decision.
8. Retention Period
- Server logs: up to twelve (12) months.
- Contact messages: for as long as required to handle your request and up to twenty-four (24) months, unless a contractual relationship arises.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (SSL/TLS encryption, access controls, data minimisation) to protect against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection.
